Amended Calendar for 2025 Barangay and SK Elections

According to the amended schedule of Commission on Election (COMELEC), voter registration will run from August 1 to 10, 2025, with a Special Register Anywhere Program (SRAP) and online reactivation period from August 1 to 7, 2025. These initiatives aim to boost accessibility, particularly for students and workers who may be away from their barangays.

The filing of Certificates of Candidacy (COC) is set for October 1 to 7, while premature campaigning remains prohibited from October 1 to November 19. The official campaign period will take place between November 20 and 29.

The election period, which includes a nationwide gun ban, begins on October 27 and will last until December 31, 2025. Liquor bans and campaigning will be prohibited on the eve of election day, November 30.

On Election Day (December 1), early voting hours from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. will be dedicated to senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and pregnant women. Regular voting will proceed from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

All candidates are required to submit their Statement of Contributions and Expenditures (SOCE) by December 31, 2025.
